In biology, immunity is the capability of multicellular organisms to resist harmful microorganisms. The immune system has a vital role in protecting our body from harmful substances, germs, and cell changes that could make you ill. In the present situation, adequate nutrition is an important way to reduce the risk and impact of virus infections as well as to build the immune system over the long term.

In this blog, we are going to discuss nutritious food that boosts your immunity. Come on let’s see.

Golden milk:

Ingredients:

Ø 2 cups of almond milk

Ø half cup coconut milk

Ø 2 tablespoons of honey

Ø 1 tablespoon of turmeric

Ø half tablespoon of ginger

Ø half teaspoon of black pepper

Ø Cinnamon 1 inch.


Preparation:

· Take a vessel and let it get warm for one minute

· Now add 2 cups of almond milk to the vessel and let it get boiled for 2 minutes.

· Now add half a cup of coconut milk and stir it gently.

· Add 1 tablespoon of turmeric and a half tablespoon of ginger, black pepper, and cinnamon and let it gets heat at low flame for 3 min to 8 min.

· Turn off the flame and strain the mixture and honey to your taste.

How it strengthens your immune system:

o Turmeric boosts the body's antioxidant capacity.

o The species and nut milk provide anti-inflammatory action on the body.


Beetroot, apple, carrot soothe:

Ingredients:

Ø Beetroot-1

Ø ginger-half inch

Ø apple-1

Ø carrot-1

Ø lemon juice as required


Preparation:

· Take a blender and add small pieces of beetroot, carrot, and apple. Then add half an inch of ginger and lemon juice to the content and blend it. Now strain the mixture and serve it.

Advantages:

o Beetroot juice is used for a great detoxifier, the carrot is loaded with fiber.

o Ginger helps cleanse the body and boosts energy and stamina.


Oats soothe:

Ingredients:

Ø Instant oats -3 tablespoons

Ø Apple –one

Ø Milk-1/2 cup

Ø Dates-3 to 4

Ø Cinnamon powder


Preparation:

· Take instant oats 3 tablespoons add 1 chopped apple pieces to the oats and add ½ cup of milk to this and now add 3 to 4 dates without seeds.

· If dates are not available add honey for sweetness and leave it for 5 min.

· Now take this content into a blender and add 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder to it and blend until it gets smooth. Now it is ready to serve.

Advantages:

o Oats are rich in antioxidants.

o They are incredibly nutritious.

o Oats can improve blood sugar control.

o They can lower cholesterol levels and protect LDL cholesterol from damage.


Watermelon and cantaloupe soothe:

Ingredients:

Ø ½ cup – watermelon

Ø ½ cup-low fat yogurt

Ø 1 cup-cantaloupe

Ø ¼ cup-orange juice.



Preparation:

· Take a blender and place ½ cup of watermelon and blend it until it becomes Smith.

· Pour the watermelon puree in a glass as a layer and set aside.

· Now again take a blender and add one cup cantaloupe, yogurt, and orange juice and blend it smoothly. Now slowly pour this mixture on top of watermelon puree. Garnish it with a small piece of cantaloupe

Advantages:

o Cantaloupe is bursting with nutrients it is loaded with vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene) as well as vitamin C and is a good source of the mineral potassium.

o Watermelon has vitamins, A, B1, B5, and B6. It helps in preventing cancer.

o As long as your immune system is running smoothly you don’t notice that it is there.
